About The Weis Mansion
The Weis Mansion B&B was founded by Christopher and Kelly Schmitz after purchasing the home in 2022. It was formerly the Wellington B&B, but had not been operated as such for many years.

The home is decorated as period as is practical without losing modern amenities Many bed sets and furniture is historic, but we have wi-fi and AC units in the warm months.
Homemade breakfast is made daily using many local ingredients including farm eggs, local honey, homemade yogurt, and bread.

We strive to be a quiet escape for whatever reason brings you to the Cedar Valley area.

This is a one-of-kind bed and breakfast! Everything about our experience at the Weis Mansion exceeded our expectations. The room was absolutely beautiful and so cozy. We appreciated the homemade and made-from-scratch food made by the owner. We also appreciated the local suggestions provided by the owner. We can’t wait for our next trip back to the Weis Mansion!

We had a fantastic evening at the Weis Mansion in the Wellington Chamber. Cozy, romantic, and charming place to stay for our wedding anniversary. Beautiful mansion with well-maintained architecture from 1900. Kelly was very friendly and hospitable. She made a fantastic breakfast! We hope to come back again sometime. Excellent experience, and a great place to go if you're looking for something different than a hotel!

We really enjoyed staying at the
Weis Mansion! The suite we were in was clean and comfortable. It was also decorated nicely. We had everything we needed and there was also a small kitchen area. The host was welcoming and friendly. She was also an amazing cook. Breakfast was awesome! Loved the woodwork and its historic appeal. We felt comfortable and at home.
