About Your Stay

Please Note the Following:

We seek to be a special place of calm amid our guests' otherwise busy lives..​

Due to the nature and age of the architecture, please also be aware that our guestrooms are not ADA compliant as builders did not foresee this need in the late 1800s when the home was designed. Victoria Chamber is the best choice for those wanting to stay on main floor, but there is a set of stairs on the exterior to enter the property.

  • Cancellation policy-We understand that plans change so there is only a $35 processing fee (deposit paid at booking) charge if cancelled 14 days or more before check in. In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel less than 14 days before check in, please understand that we charge the full cost of the stay. Purchase our optional travel insurance to protect yourself.

Note: parking is free street parking with VERY limited uncovered off-street parking available

  • Check in is between 4pm and 8pm. 

  • All suites have an ensuite (bathroom in the room) except Gholson room which is across the hall. Bathrooms have hair dryers and shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers.

  • All rooms have individually controlled Air Conditioning, robes, water bottles, and all stays include a full breakfast that is served at 8:30 each morning.

  • Shared fridges and microwaves are located on each floor. Tea and Coffee bar is available 24 hours along with an ice machine. 

Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions before you arrive so we can plan the menu!

We have complimentary passes to the Cedar Valley Sportsplex available on request.

  • huge jetted clawfoot tub with romantic candles & robes, 

  • large TV with streaming services in living room,

  • 2 leaded glass windows, large pier mirror, antique colonnade,

  • Historic Queen bed with memory foam mattress in the bay window area.

  • This suite is about 600 square feet with door to close off bedroom from the rest of the space.

  • coffered ceilings,

  • King size bed with pillowtop mattress set.

  • This suite can be joined with Gholson Room.

  • This space is about 400 square feet.

Weis Chamber

Large suite named after the property's namesake. Features:

  • on second floor- we can help with luggage

  • walk-in shower in private bathroom, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash,

  • 2 large closets with robes,

  • TV with streaming channels,

  • Historic Queen bed set and Historic Full bed with door to separate from the rest of the space.

  • Kitchenette space with sink, cupboards, basic dishes/silverware

  • There are 3 large rooms totaling about 800 square feet.

Bernhardt Chamber

Features:

  • on second floor-we can help with luggage,

  • a large private bath with soaking tub/shower combo, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, robes,

  • kitchen sink space with basic dishes/utensils,

  • TV with streaming channels in a separate sitting area, and a

  • King size bed with memory foam mattress, 

  • A roll away twin bed can be added to the sitting room space in this suite.

  • Large space of approximately 600 square feet.

Gholson Room

Main Floor

This room features:

  • on main floor-near back of house

  • historic Full size bed set with memory foam mattress,

  • semi-private bathroom across the hall with tub/shower, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, robes,

  • TV with streaming channels in closet, 

  • hardwood floor with rug,

  • private access to a screened porch overlooking the backyard,

  • This is the smallest room at about 200 square feet.

  • Innkeepers friendly dogs can be found in the backyard.
