Are kids allowed?

Due to the historic nature of the house including antiques, we are not a kid friendly establishment. Kids 16 and over with parent are allowed.

Can I bring my pet?

Due to the historic nature of the house, we do not allow pets. Service animals (NOT ESA) are permitted with prior notification.

Do you live here?

Yes, we are a traditional bed and breakfast and live on site with our 3 large dogs (which are kept separate from guest spaces, but love pets if you miss your dog)

What is the cancellation policy?

We have a 14 day cancellation policy. If you need to cancel more than 14 days before check-in, you are fine. Cancellations within 14 days of check-in forfeit the cost of the stay. Travel insurance is offered if you book directly through our website- you can get 75% of your payment back if you cancel for any reason within the 14 day window.

What time is check in?

We are not a hotel with a staffed front desk. This is our house and I (Kelly) have to run errands so I'm not here at all hours. Check in is from 4pm to 10pm. Early check in is possible as early as 1pm if room is ready for additional $25 fee.

If travel delays you until after 10pm, self check-in instructions can be given with notification.

What time is breakfast?

Full homemade breakfast is served at 8:30 each morning. That time can be altered a little with prior notification. If you need to leave before 7:30 or sleep in until after 9, then snacks, juice, coffee, tea, etc. are available to take with you.

Can I use your kitchen?

The kitchen is not available for guest use.

What about food allergies/dietary restrictions?

Let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. We are not a GF certified kitchen, but take care to be diligent when we know of allergies.

Are there outlets by the bed for CPAP, phone chargers, etc.?

Yes, there are outlets on each side of all beds.

Do you have air conditioning?

During the warm months (Approx. May-Oct) there are individually controlled air conditioners in each suite.

Do all rooms have a private bathroom?

Each room/suite has a private bathroom. Gholson Room has a mostly private bathroom across the hall (not in the room). It is only shared with other guests if there is an event such as a Murder Mystery. If you want a private bathroom in your room, book any of the other rooms.

Where is parking?

We have free street parking along Wellington street which is right next to the house.

Is there a curfew?

I am not your mom! Once checked in you can come and go as you please. We just ask that you keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 6am unless you booked the whole house.
